Welcome to Choir!

The OLV Choir is a non-auditioning choir, which means all that is needed to participate is enthusiasm, dedication, and a love for singing! Choir is open to all 5th - 8th graders. Even those in Athletics, Pep Squad and Cheerleading are eligible. The OLV Choir is under the direction of Mrs. Beth Waak.
A note from Mrs. Waak: It has been a great year for OLV's choir. The students should be commended for the dedication and commitment which they have shown throughout the year. As many of you know, the choir received Superior ratings from all three judges at Blinn's Choral Festival. It was also selected as the Outstanding Mixed Choir for the competition - an honor only bestowed on one choir. All the other competitors were public schools from the greater Houston or Austin area. My thanks go out to every one of you for your work this year. Thank you parents for your support and encouragement. You've been wonderful!! I hope that all the returning students plan on sharing their voices with us so we can continue our tradition of excellence.
